Outwave respects your privacy. And we also hate legalese. This is our human-readable privacy policy.
When you place an order through an Outwave store, we collect your name, shipping address, and email address. Your payment details are submitted directly to our payment processors (currently Stripe and Shopify). Our systems never see your credit card number.
We also automatically collect and log data about your device to help us debug issues. This includes things like IP address, browser useragent, operating system, and other non-identifying information.
We will share your shipping information with our fulfillment partners in order to deliver merchandise or items that you buy from us. We may share your email address and order information with the stores and artists that you make a purchase from.
We use short-lived session cookies to support your activity in our stores and sites. We also use cookies and link tokens to store information about how you engage in the site. For example, if we send you a promo code we would use a link with a token in it so we could attribute a future sale to a particular channel.
We may use third party tools (like Google Analytics) for analyzing traffic to our sites.
If you shop through an Outwave store hosted by another provider (like Shopify), they may use tracking techniques that we don't.
We use industry-standard organizational and technical security practices to keep data safe. All user interactions with Outwave servers happen over SSL encrypted connections. While we do our best to ensure the security of data, transmission to and from Outwave is at your own risk. You should only access Outwave sites in a secure environment.
